6 Haiku Poems Scheduled to Appear at The Elixir Magazine Today!!!

May 5, 2019 – The Elixir Magazine, one of my absolutely FAVORITE literary mags (and not just because I am an editor/writer there), reprinted six of my previously published haiku (from Indelible Fingerprints [Alien Buddha Press]) in their May 2019 issue:

“Angels in the Morning” (originally published at Expat Press)

“As I Wake” (originally published at Expat Press)

“Gossip” (originally published at Terror House Magazine)

“Epiphanies” (originally published at The Ugly Writers)

“Fireflies” (originally published at Expat Press)

“Gin & Tonic” (originally published at Expat Press)

These ten “little darlings” will appear some time today. This feels especially good since I am currently working on content for my second book, which will be a collection of haiku poetry. I am all about haiku right now. The May issue is an especially special one as it is focused ENTIRELY on literature. Looking forward to get back to editing for the June issue. So glad Elixir has continued to support my work and to continually be an “Artist in Residence”.

Poem “Solace” Reprinted at Poetizer Tonight!

May 5, 2019 – Poem “Solace”, originally published by Expat Press and in David Estringel’s book of poetry and prose Indelible Fingerprints, was reprinted tonight at Poetizer. Take a look and buy the book (available at Amazon.com) to check out his poems and short stories!

Short Story “When Blood Wants Blood” Appears in Blood Moon Rising Magazine #76!!!

May 5, 2019 – There was a bit of a delay but Blood Moon Rising (Issue #76) finally is out, as well as short story “When Blood Wants Blood”. A little Santeria here, a little espiritismo there–plus a little bit of candlelight, Fabuloso, and animal sacrifice thrown in for a little flavor–make for a good read. A very fun write.

A Wonderful Surprise…Haiku Poem “Poetica” Published at Paper Trains Literary Journal!

May 6, 2019 – On a whim, I checked up on a publication that was supposed to happen but I was never notified about. AT LAST, haiku poem “Poetica” has been published at Paper Trains Literary Journal Vol. #2. Looks like it was published March 31, 2019. So glad this poem finally has made its appearance. Very thankful for Paper Trains’ support. This was one of the first poems that I got accepted back in late 2018. Good way to round off the day.
