July 26, 2019 – Haiku poem, “Hope”, was accepted today as an untitled piece to be featured at Poetry Pea in their September “Haiku Pea” podcast (“Flowers” episode). July 25, 2019 – New essay “Digging for Lost Temples”, a self-exploration of ethnic identity, accepted today at Drunk Monkeys today (publication date TBD). Many thanks to Kolleen Carney Hoepfner (Editor-In-Chief) and Matthew Guerruckey (Founder). Very excited about this opportunity as it is the first essay of mine to be accepted by a literary publication (i.e., outside The Good Men Project). Looking forward to writing many more in the future!

July 22, 2019 – Three haiku (“The Story of Us”, “Stop & Recalibrate”, and “Moment of Clarity”) that were previously published at Cajun Mutt Press were accepted for reprint today at Alien Buddha Zine for November 2019 publication (Issue #12). Always excited to be included in ABZ with the whole talented lot they always seem to deliver on a monthly basis. July 15, 2019 – Poem “Storms” accepted for reprint at Z Publishing for their “Emerging Poets 2019” series, scheduled to appear in Texas’ Emerging Poets: An Anthology (in the “Love, Romance, and Heartbreak” section). Publication date TBD. Feeling very honored and humbled to be included among such a talented group of Texas writers for this national project (with emerging poets from each state being featured in their own anthology).
