December 19, 2020 – Got the great news today that poem “And the Beat Goes On” appears at Horror Sleaze Trash today. HST is definitively one of my favorite lit mags of all time!
December 17, 2020 – Terribly excited to have one of my favorite poems, “And the Beat Goes On”, accepted for reprint at Horror Sleaze Trash, which is easily one of my favorite online mags! This “beat” inspired piece has definitely been a source of pride and pleasure to me since I birthed it almost two years ago. Many thanks to HST‘s Arthur Graham for the acceptance
December 17, 2020 – “Digging for Lost Temples”, a poem about my own self-reflections about a search for my own Mexican-American identity, will be reprinted at Ethel e-zine (Issue #8) this Summer 2021. Many thanks to Sara Lefsyk for the acceptance. Loving this e-zine style and aesthetic!
December 15, 2020 – An oldie (but a goodie), poem “Nothing Lasts” was accepted for reprint in DREICH‘s themed chapbook “SCI-FI” that is scheduled for release July 2021. This poem’s last appearance was is TL;DR’s Beneath Strange Stars: A SciFi & Fantasy Anthology and seemed like a perfect fit. Many thanks to Jack Caradok, as well as Terror House Magazine for originally publishing the piece!
December 5, 2020 – I am pleased to say that “little deaths” & “Duende” will both feature in Issue #9 of Impspired Magazine, out on the 1st of February 2021. They will also both be in the Volume Five print anthology out at the end of April 2021.Many thanks to Steve Cawte!
November 30, 2020 – Beyond excited about Cephalopress’s recent acceptance of a favorite (a slightly naughty) poem of mine, “Cajeta (Gimme Some Sweet!)” for reprint. It has been a while since poems “Smooth Whiskey” and “Killers” made their appearance there in February 2019. Keeping my fingers crossed that a couple of more “little darlings” will make their way there. So glad to be returning soon.
