June 8, 2021 – Extremely proud to have three of my more recent works, “Digging for Lost Temples (originally published at 45 Magazine), “Cajeta (Gimme Some Sweet!)” (originally published at Cajun Mutt Press), and “Burn” (originally published at The Bitchin’ Kitsch) reprinted at Azahares Spanish Language Literary Magazine (University of Arkansas – Fort Smith). These three pieces are extremely personal to me, so the acceptance is truly an honor.

June 8, 2021 – Received the most AMAZING news today! The Opiate, which is a literary magazine that I have wanted to be published by since I started writing, accepted two pieces for reprint, “Old Filament, Broken Bulb” (originally published at Expat Press) and “Burn” (originally published at The Bitchin’ Kitsch), for publication tomorrow (6/9/21) online and late-July in print, respectively. Many thanks to EIC Genna Rivieccio for the acceptance. Such a great day!
Acceptance into Tupelo Press’ 30/30 Project for August 2021!!!
June 3, 2021 – Thrilled to get word that I will be one of 10 poets who will be participating in Tupelo Press’ 30/30 Project this August 2021. I will be writing one poem a day for 30 days, fundraising for this amazing independent press. I will am setting a minimum fundraising goal of $500 and will ask friends, family, and followers to support me in this “poetry marathon” by donating between $1 to $3 a poem ($30 to $90).
