October 28, 2021 – Poems “Palo Santo” and “Santero” were accepted today at Azahares Spanish Language Literary Magazine for publication April 2022. Very excited to appear in this awesome bilingual lit mag, housed at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, for a second consecutive year. This is one of three pieces (including “Evening Machines” and “Street Flowers”) that were originally published at Terror House Magazine that will be reprinted at HST over the next few weeks. Always glad to appear in one of my absolute favorite lit mags.

Absolutely LOVE what they did with this piece. This was the first original piece of work written outside the pieces written for the Tupelo Press 30/30 Project: a true work of desire that was the first of many.
