Nominated for the 2021 Pushcart Prize for Poetry!!!

November 22, 2021 – Quite excited to announce that I have been nominated for the Pushcart Prize in Poetry by Synkronicity Magazine for poem “Fireflies.” This is quite an honor, especially since not only did “Fireflies” win Synkroniciti Magazine’s ‘Transcendence” Poetry Contest this past October, but this will be my first Pushcart nomination ever. It’s a gooooood day.

Accepted to participate in Poets in Pajamas in Summer 2022!!!

November 16, 2021 – Excited to announce that I will participate, as part of a select 24, in Poetry in Pajamas 2022 season (hosted courtesy of Sundress Publications). My Facebook Live reading is scheduled for July 3, 2022, featuring poems such as “Frozen Charlotte” (originally published at Cajun Mutt Press), “Dandelion Wine” (originally published at The Milk House), and “Boy with a Box Full of Wasps” (scheduled for publication December 2021 at Beir Bua Journal). Should be good fun.

Poem “Neon Gods” published at Cephalopress!!!

Novemeber 8, 2021 – Thrilled that my poem “Neon Gods” has been published at Cephalopress! This poem is one of the many “street life” pieces I recently wrote and is a bit of a departure from the usual fare, and I am completely in love with it. Always happy to have my work at Cephalopress, which is one of my favorite lit mags for sure.
