January 12, 2022 – So happy that poem “Meadowlark” appears today in Sisyphus. One of the many bucolic-themed pieces I wrote during my stint in Tupelo Press’ 30/30 Project in August 2020, it took a while to find a home, but @sisyphusmag saw in it what I always could.
October 23, 2021 – Poems “Mother’s Milk” and “Pomegranates” will appear in Synkroniciti Magazine’s 10th issue on November 30, 2021, along with poem “Fireflies”, which will be featured as the magazine’s winner of their ‘Transcend’ Poetry Contest. Many thanks to Editor Katherine McDaniel for the great honor and for a third go-round with the publication.
September 13, 2021 – Very happy to announce that one of my favorite new poems, “Pomegranates”, will be featured at Poetishes (publication date TBD). This piece was originally published at Lothlorien Poetry Journal this month and it’s one of the first ones to be written as part of Tupelo Press’ 30/30 Project this past August 2021. There are about 7 or 8 poems in the collection that have a bucolic-themed vibe. This includes “Raspberry Bushes”, which similarly has sensual (if not lustful) undertones. Definitely a piece I would like to see make its rounds for a long time to come. Update coming out as soon as a reprint date is locked down.
