March 29, 2022 – Happy to announce that my newest poetry chapbook, Eating Pears on the Rooftop, is available now for presale at Finishing Line Press. A collection of older and newer pieces, Eating Pears on the Rooftop offers up my favorites and my best, written between 2018 and 2019, including “Blue Sky through Bare Branches,” “Kiss Me, Again, Again, and Again,” “Smooth Whiskey,” “Coffeehouse Romance,” “little deaths,” “Digging for Lost Temples,” and “Burn.”

September 19, 2021 – Surprised today by the notification that North Meridian Review: A Journal of Culture and Scholarship will be publishing my prose poem, “Digging for Lost Temples”, in their Fall 2021 print issue. “Digging…” first appeared online at the NMR website earlier this Spring 2021 (click to view). Honored to also appear in their print issue.

June 8, 2021 – Extremely proud to have three of my more recent works, “Digging for Lost Temples (originally published at 45 Magazine), “Cajeta (Gimme Some Sweet!)” (originally published at Cajun Mutt Press), and “Burn” (originally published at The Bitchin’ Kitsch) reprinted at Azahares Spanish Language Literary Magazine (University of Arkansas – Fort Smith). These three pieces are extremely personal to me, so the acceptance is truly an honor.

January 5, 2021 – Absolutely thrilled to get word today that Harpy Hybrid Review accepted my hybrid prose poem/CNF piece “Digging for Lost Temples” (originally published at 45 Magazine) for reprint in an upcoming issue. It’s a very personal piece about cultural assimilation and an ultimate search for (reclaiming of) identity that I am particularly proud of. Excited to see it out there again.

Publication is scheduled for April 2021.
