Poem “Santero” accepted for publication at Red Fez!!!
October 11, 2021 – Got the best news today! Red Fez accepted one of my new poems, “Santero”, for publication. It is one of three Santeria-themed poems that came out of my stint in Tupelo Press’ 30/30 Project for August 2021. So very thrilled to have my work included in Issue #151. It has been a long wait but was definitely worth it. BIG thanks to Editorial Director Doc Sigerson for the acceptance and for taking a chance on this unique culturally and spiritually meaningful piece.

Many thanks to Senior Editor Scott Duncan-Fernandez and Somos En Escrito staff for the acceptance!
“When Blood Wants Blood” rises, again, at Cherry Magazine!
May 11, 2019 – Short story “When Blood Wants Blood”, originally published at Down in the Dirt Magazine, will appear in Cherry Magazine’s June 2019 issue. Pleasantly surprised at the reception and positive feedback this story has received as of late. Glad the story found Cherry Magzine to hang out at for a while before its official retirement. Feeling warm fuzzies and shit all over right now.
