October 28, 2021 – Poems “Palo Santo” and “Santero” were accepted today at Azahares Spanish Language Literary Magazine for publication April 2022. Very excited to appear in this awesome bilingual lit mag, housed at the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith, for a second consecutive year. Many thanks to Executive Editor Mary Sobhani for the acceptance and continues support.

October 12, 2021 – Santeria-themed poem “Boveda” appears at Hispanecdotes today in their “Heritage” issue! This is part of a trio of similarly themed pieces (the others being “Santero” and “Palo Santo”) that were created as a result of my participation in Tupelo Press’ 30/30 Project this past August 2021. Very happy “Boveda” found an amazing home.
