Poems “Boy with a Box Full of Wasps”, “Son Rise”, and “Raspberry Bushes” accepted for publication today at Beir Bua Journal!!!

September 26, 2021 – Woke up to amazing news this morning! Beir Bua Journal accepted three new poems, “Boy with a Box Full of Wasps”, “Son Rise”, and “Raspberry Bushes”. Was happy to hear the news as I had just submitted last night (I love expedited submissions). Decided to keep some of the ‘edge’ from “Cough Syrup”, “Blood Honey”, “3 AM”, and “Dopamine” (soon to be published at Fugitives and Futurists) going a bit longer with “Boy…” and “Son…”. “Raspberry Bushes” is one of many bucolic-themed pieces that explores the ‘black and white’ of life but with lascivious undertones (I am quite fond of all these, actually). Publication scheduled for December 10, 2021. A huge THANK YOU to Publishing Editor Michelle Maloney King for the very quick acceptance!

Poem “Pomegranates” to Be Featured at Poetishes!!!

September 13, 2021 – Very happy to announce that one of my favorite new poems, “Pomegranates”, will be featured at Poetishes (publication date TBD). This piece was originally published at Lothlorien Poetry Journal this month and it’s one of the first ones to be written as part of Tupelo Press’ 30/30 Project this past August 2021. There are about 7 or 8 poems in the collection that have a bucolic-themed vibe. This includes “Raspberry Bushes”, which similarly has sensual (if not lustful) undertones. Definitely a piece I would like to see make its rounds for a long time to come. Update coming out as soon as a reprint date is locked down.
