Poems “Blood Honey”, “Cough Syrup”, “3 AM”, and “Dopamine” to Be Published at Fugitives & Futurists!!!

September 14, 2021 – Truly honored to have four of my new poems, “Blood Honey”, “Cough Syrup”, “3 AM”, and “Dopamine”, accepted for publication at Fugitives & Futurists. They don’t normally publish poetry, but this series that I submitted apparently made an impact. Founder & Contributing Editor Daniel Harlow commented on the series’ “realness and beauty,” further describing it as “…delicate, sweet, thorned to the touch.”

The poems will be scheduled to appear sometime mid/late October. They are sensual, dark, raw pieces that a handful of pubs have opted not to take. Glad F&F saw the vision behind them. Totally humbled by the nod. Many thanks to Daniel Harlow at F&F for accepting what are some of my favorite pieces…ever.

Poem “Pomegranates” to Be Featured at Poetishes!!!

September 13, 2021 – Very happy to announce that one of my favorite new poems, “Pomegranates”, will be featured at Poetishes (publication date TBD). This piece was originally published at Lothlorien Poetry Journal this month and it’s one of the first ones to be written as part of Tupelo Press’ 30/30 Project this past August 2021. There are about 7 or 8 poems in the collection that have a bucolic-themed vibe. This includes “Raspberry Bushes”, which similarly has sensual (if not lustful) undertones. Definitely a piece I would like to see make its rounds for a long time to come. Update coming out as soon as a reprint date is locked down.
