December 2, 2021 – Great news today! Short story “Roadkill” garnered me the award for “Best First-Time Screenwriter” at the Sweet Democracy Film Awards. Having a great time seeing this piece meet with some acclaim. This is the second award “Roadkill” has received this year (the first being “Best Short Story” at the Ediplay International Film Festival).

November 6, 2021 – Great news today! My short story “Roadkill” was named “Award Winner” in the Best Short Story category at the EdiPlay International Film Festival in Paris, France. Absolutely thrilled that this newly revised (2021) piece has received this amazing honor.

November 4, 2021 – Just got word that my short story “Roadkill” has been accepted appear in Lemon Peel Press‘s inaugural issue “Disgust.” Apart from this being the first short story I ever wrote and got published, it is also my favorite. So glad to bring it out of retirement for this opportunity…and also a couple of others. BIG thanks to Josh Andrew and Ambrose Kelly for the acceptance.

October 12, 2021 – Just got word this morning that my short story, “When Blood Wants Blood”, has been accepted for reprint at LatineLit for publication in their inaugural issue on January 3, 2022. Very excited by the opportunity to have this piece appear in another Latinx literary publication. September 22, 2021 – Received word today that one of the three short stories, “When Blood Wants Blood”, will be reprinted in The Hallowzine’s second issue, along with seven of my horror haikus in October. Thrilled to see that story making the rounds, again, though this will be its last run. Time to finally lay it to rest, along with “Roadkill” and “Windows”.
